Production Assistant – Part Time / Temporary (Seasonal Summer Job Opportunity )

Lakes Sandwiches is on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly production team this summer. Whether you’re home from college or university or simply looking for a seasonal role that works around your schedule, this could be the perfect fit.

Summer 2025 Role:
July to September
3 set days a week: Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday
Approx 21–24 hours per week (extra hours available during busy periods)
Sociable daytime hours – no late night shifts!
Your Day-to-Day Might Include:
Preparing and assembling handmade sandwiches, salads, and other tasty items
Chopping and prepping fresh ingredients (don’t worry—we’ll show you how!)
Sealing and labelling handmade food products
Keeping your workstation clean and food-safe
Working together with our fabulous team to hit daily targets and have fun along the way
Helping out with stock checks and quality control
Cleaning and tidying
We’re Looking For:
Some experience with food (at home, college, or in a job – it all counts!)
A great eye for detail and a positive attitude
Someone who works well under a bit of pressure and can adapt to change
A reliable team player who turns up and gets stuck in
Flexibility, including occasional overtime hours to cover busy workloads
